Best Mods to Install in Civilization 7
Readable Tech Trees

Mod & Creator: Readable Tech Trees by Patrykulka
The Readable Tech Trees improves on one of the biggest issues of Civilization 7: the UI. However, the mod only helps with the tech tree and nothing else, but it is still a good start in helping you gather and read information so you can make better decisions overall.
Larger Maps
Mod & Creator: Larger Maps by Gedomon
Larger Maps unlocks “large” and “huge” sizes in the settings. The mod features several custom landmasses, shapes, and mountains and completely rounds up the massive 128×80 map size with more resources. The mod is still being worked on to fix glitches and add even bigger maps like 230×116, but it might take a while to make gigantic maps more playable.

Enhanced Town Focus

Mod & Creator: Enhanced Town Focus by Mallek561
The Enhanced Town Focus mod helps players look at all the production buildings that may benefit from switching Town Focuses in settlements. When you reach more than six settlements, remembering buildings is much harder. Does this settlement have food buildings to make a food town focus worth it?
The mod shows you every building with corresponding values so you can make an informed decision.
Disable Disaster Damage

Mod & Creator: Disable Disaster Damage by VulpineHorizon
Natural disasters are some of the most annoying features in Civ 7. You are forced to keep rebuilding, draining your resources, when all you want to do is keep expanding, manage wars, and look after your people. The mod essentially disables the natural disasters, giving you more time to focus on other aspects of the game.
Show Policy Yields

Mod & Creator: Show Policy Yields by Patrykulka
Policies, Civics, and other decisions with a tree or a graph all suffer from a lack of tooltip or description. The game UI needs much work, but mods are here to help. The Show Policy Yields mod shows actual numbers of how much “X” resource you will get when choosing a policy. This change helps you make an informed decision because changing social policies is difficult to do in the game.
